​Hi, I'm Riley Rowan and I'm a London based author of romantic fiction.

I am a lifelong writer and have been creating characters, worlds and stories from a young age but until recently have been working too hard (and maybe lacking in a little courage) to get my stories out there.

I like to be real in my writing and so if it happens in life, it can happen in one of my novels. There will usually be swearing, there will often be sex, there will sometimes be an event that takes you on an evocative and emotional journey. You have been warned! What I will promise you though is that there will be good times too, comedic moments, great characters you'll want to root for and there will always be the inevitable heartwarming HEA!

Creating characters that people can relate to is an important part of my process and I strongly believe that if just one person finds hope, inspiration or just enjoys the escape within my words for a while, that story was worth writing. If my writing can highlight awareness and increase understanding at the same time, I'll be a happy little scribbler.

When I'm not writing, I can be found reading an obscene amount of books, enjoying romance and comedy movies, annoying my partner by singing along (badly) to music or being creative in some way.
